We discussed the difficulty of being patient in the Lord while living in a world of Instant everything. As I was studying His word, the Lord reminded me that often when we are frustrated at God’s timing, it is simply because we are not ready to receive what God Has for us. We want God to come back and get us out of here, But God says He desires that none should perish, so He will wait until the Spirit gathers all that will come.
We say we want to be free from evil, and God says that He is patient to trust, train, and prepare us to be free in Him. We want an absence of problems and conflict, but God is patient to guide us through the world even with the trials and temptation that cause pain and conflict.
In short, We need to remember that God’s call for us to be patient is really a cry of love to us reminding us that God is patiently readying us for an eternity in His presence. He would much rather do that correctly than quickly. Further, we will be better if we will wait on and accept God’s training and leadership. Patience is a discipline that will be a powerful tool in our lives and a legacy builder in our families. We, therefore, need to accept it as a sweet fruit to be savored!
God Bless You

when they carry out their wicked schemes.

but one who is quick-tempered displays folly.

2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
