I have been consistently seeking God for the last 20 years in doing these devotions. I still feel as though this is a ministry God has ordained, I apologize that in recent days, I have been less consistent. I am in no way ready to walk away but would really love to know if this is of benefit to you.
Starting Monday, I am pausing in my study of psalms. I am going to take the summer and study the fruit of the spirit and the armor of God as I feel a personal need to reequip for what seems to be one of the most intense spiritual battles that God’s chosen have faced in my almost 60 years.
I would appreciate your personal feedback as to if this is of benefit to you and where is God pulling at your heartstrings. I have had times when I have felt dialed in and others when I have felt completely out of focus. This has always been a personal journey to become like Christ, but after 20 years, I would love to hear back from you. Thank You.
God Bless You.

Psalm 37:4–Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Proverbs 3:5-6–Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding.
6in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.[a]
Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Hi Smitty!
Landra with Farmers in West Columbia here. I for one truly appreciate your insight and perspective. You have an anointing and a gifting to take the words of scripture off the page and allow the Holy Spirit to breathe life and personal application for us. However, be obedient to the Lord’s instruction to you. Don’t let discouragement deter you from continuing if it’s the Lord‘s will for you, but don’t let the enemy manipulate and guilt you into continuing if the Lord has told you to take a sabbatical from this ministry. You are a mighty man of God and a chosen (many are called but few are chosen) vessel. Thank you for your faithfulness & sacrifice so others cane fed. May He give you clear direction and instruction; may we have the willingness to obey.
