Today marks the 2000th entry into my blog, “God’s Amazing Journey”. I am extremely grateful for all that have read and shared the ramblings of a grateful follower of the Lord. This site started as a couple old friends simply keeping each other accountable to spend time in God’s word, daily. In Early 2002, My friend Brian asked me to hold him accountable from Milwaukee, WI. He was in OKC. After some thought and prayer, I challenged him to send me a daily summary of what he read and what God was showing him. He suggested that it would help if I would do the same for him.
We started exchanging the emails, and over time, other friends would ask to be copied. 10 Years later, I was sending that email to well over a hundred folks. A local pastor suggested that I start a blog as that was the “New” thing in 2012. So, in addition to the email, I started adding the blog site. Now 8.5 years later, I am posting my 2000th entry, into the blog. I am so grateful to all that have encouraged and stayed with me. It has truly kept me focused on the word through great times and difficult ones.
God has opened up His heart to me as his servant, and He has given me a passion to love and follow Him through thick and thin. David was correct when he said in Psalm 119 that God’s word is a great tool for purification and direction for a young man’s life. I am more convinced now that we must remain grounded in His word to navigate the treacherous path our culture has left. It is our greatest resource for Faith, Hope, and Love, God’s greatest gifts.
Thank you for being a part of the Amazing Journey blog; I look forward to seeing where God leads next.
God Bless You

Blessed are the undefiled in the way,
Who walk in the law of the Lord!
2 Blessed are those who keep His testimonies,
Who seek Him with the whole heart!
3 They also do no iniquity;
They walk in His ways.
4 You have commanded us
To keep Your precepts diligently.
5 Oh, that my ways were directed
To keep Your statutes!
6 Then I would not be ashamed,
When I look into all Your commandments.
7 I will praise You with uprightness of heart,
When I learn Your righteous judgments.
8 I will keep Your statutes;
Oh, do not forsake me utterly!
ב BETH
9 How can a young man cleanse his way?
By taking heed according to Your word.
10 With my whole heart I have sought You;
Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments!
11 Your word I have hidden in my heart,
That I might not sin against You.
12 Blessed are You, O Lord!
Teach me Your statutes.
13 With my lips I have declared
All the judgments of Your mouth.
14 I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies,
As much as in all riches.
15 I will meditate on Your precepts,
And [b]contemplate Your ways.
16 I will delight myself in Your statutes;
I will not forget Your word.
