The Walls Came A Tumblin’ Down–Joshua 6 Part 2

What seemed to be the most ridiculous battle strategy to their enemies, became a flawlessly executed battle plan for God and his people.  They defeated and destroyed the mighty city of Jericho.  A city that was impregnable by all worldly standards and prepared for all who would make an attempt to attack—well almost all.

No human could prepare for or expect the battle plan of the living God.  All through the word, He makes it abundantly clear that His ways are not our ways.  We could never truly grasp the inner workings of an omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent creator and master of the universe.

The message to the world was that Israel was His people and would be moving home to reclaim that which they had been promised.  In Jericho, that message was received loud and clear.  God and his armies along with Joshua and his armies completely obliterated the…
