We are all blessed with different spiritual gifts and challenges. God owns it all, and in his process of distribution, he expects us, his chosen, to hold on loosely to all he has provided. We can never be afraid to share the blessings we have received–nor, can we question the fact that as easy as blessings flow in, they can also flow out.
Job was the richest man in the world when God allowed satan to strip him of his wealth, his kids and his health. During the journey, Job finally questioned God. God gladly responded to Job’s indictment of God’s plan, by asking the very simple question–When I built the world, where were you and your input on planning and execution?!!
We have no right to question God’s methods. We also have no right to hoard what he has provided us! Not only is it offensive to him, but, more importantly, it deprives us of the opportunity to bless others and to be blessed ourselves. We can never forget that it is his provision and his plan–we are called simply to trust him and obey!
God Bless You
Now listen, you rich people, weep and wail because of the misery that is coming on you. 2 Your wealth has rotted, and moths have eaten your clothes. 3 Your gold and silver are corroded. Their corrosion will testify against you and eat your flesh like fire. You have hoarded wealth in the last days. 4 Look! The wages you failed to pay the workers who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord Almighty. 5 You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves in the day of slaughter. 6 You have condemned and murdered the innocent one, who was not opposing you.
