Justified, Sanctified and Glorified–Romans 8 Part 4

First, when we realize that we cannot reach God on our own and call out to him, he gladly accepts us into his family and we are then JUSTIFIED.  The concept is that the slate of our sins ore completely deleted from  the hard drive and cannot be recovered.  It is JUST as IF had In any way nEver happeneD.  Justified.

Next, as we walk with God, we are being conformed into his image.  That ongoing process is called Sanctification.  The best analogy for me is training camp.  We go on this amazing Journey, with the Holy Spirit, other Christians and life events constantly chipping away at us until one day we look a great deal (Spiritually) like Jesus.  Sanctification is slow, tedious work That God promises to continue until his final return.  Like any warrior, we have to continue to train to be ready for any eventuality.

Finally, we are Glorified—Graduation!!! One day we will stand with Christ and we will be accepted into eternity with him to enjoy life the way God intended.  The Bible accounts sound mind blowing.  The great news is that when that day comes we will look back and see a lifetime of preparation that has perfectly equipped us for the celebration.

Salvation is simple—but, make no mistake, it is in no way easy.

 God Bless You

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[i] have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified
