Paul understood better than most that , that the Church had to support one another. There would always be differences among people, but, those differences were minor compared to the need for unity in the church.

Paul was encouraging the Philippians to look past their differences and encourage and lift each other up. It was the selflessness that that caused, that made the body different than the rest of the world.

In current culture, the church still needs to serve one another. Our hearts are the only thing that allow us to rise above the anarchy and chaos that rule our society. For each of us it needs to be a personal and real choice. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
