The Rainbow, no matter what the world says, is the ongoing reminder that God is in charge and he loves us.  The symbol is used for all reasons and causes, but at its core, it is the creator’s promise that he will no longer destroy the creation in its entirety.  The temptation has continued throughout history—as a race, we as people have been, are and will be self-centered, mean and evil at our core.  But within that same core is the initial design that set us apart from the rest—God’s image

So, as his kids,  formed in his image we still get to choose to turn from the base evil core and claim his promise.  We can be restored by simply following him and trusting him.  Then each viewing of a rainbow has its overwhelming warmth that reminds us his grace is all that stands between us and our destruction.  That Grace along with his sacrifice is the greatest gift will ever receive.  I am truly thankful for it—I am also thankful for each oof you that keep me accountable to remain in his word! Happy Thanksgiving!!

God Bless You

And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come: 13 I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. 14 Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, 15 I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. 16 Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.”

17 So God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant I have established between me and all life on the earth.”
