Christ is coming soon…soon seems to take a long time.  We know that since the 1st century, the Church has been waiting and watching for Christ’s return.  So how do we do that for 2000 years?  We remember that to God a day is like a thousand years and a thousand years is like a day. He is Omnipresent–Everywhere and every when at once.  We also remember as with Methuselah–the oldest man in recorded history, (Genesis 5:21-27), God was both patient and desired that none would perish–Methuselah means after he dies, then judgment comes. God has patiently waited to have his word spread across the earth and give all that desire to a chance to be redeemed.

So when will he return?–No man knows when.  But, we each should live as if it were within our lifetime. We do so by following closely and sharing the Gospel widely.  Clearly, the times resemble the pictures painted in the prophecy of Christ’s return. But, God has been intentionally vague about the date of his return.  All I know is, that should it happen soon, I would rather live ready to go–not as if he was never returning.  Walk closely and live expectantly, and see the wonder of God’s glory each day–then you will never need to be concerned.

God Bless You

I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars—I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you. 10 Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth.

11 I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. 12 The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name. 13 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
