The Power of Scripture–2 Timothy 3 Final

When Paul spoke of the full armor of God, he spoke of mostly defensive weapons, but, when he spoke of God’s word—he spoke of a powerful weapon.  God’s word is a weapon, a tool, a comfort and a guide.  Whether we speak of personal growth, or the training of others, The Bible is our main tool for learning about God.  The history and accuracy of the Bible is amazing.  The enemy has tried to eradicate it for thousands of years. Since the Bible has been held by common people, it has changed the lives and directions of individuals, families and even nations.

Personally, the Bible has become a great comfort and tool in my life. Daily, as I seek him in his word, he provides comfort, knowledge, discipline and direction. Through the years, the Word has filled in so many gaps in my walk with him.  It is no simple book—it is alive and personal.  All my friends that have committed to seeking God daily have, in fact, found him.  We can never grow weary of seeking God—it is the driving force in this Amazing Journey.  Take a few minutes each day, and ask God to lead you through his word.

 God Bless You

But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, 15 and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God[a] may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
